Boysenberry Upside Down Cake
Guess who got a new camera? Me! I am so excited and I love it. I couldn't bake something fast enough to see what kind of pictures it would take. The top picture makes me very happy.
This recipe I am sharing with you has been in my family for a long long time. I grew up eating this dessert. I always looked forward to it when I saw my mother making it. I can remember pouring milk on it and eating it that way instead of ice cream. Both are good. It has such simple ingredients, it is so easy to make and it is a family favorite.
Easy enough for my 8 and 9 year old girls to make.

Boysenberry Upside Down Cake Recipe
1 Cup of Flour
2 teaspoons Baking Powder
1/8 teaspoon Salt
1/4 C. Margarine (softened)
1 Cup of Sugar (1/2 cup in mixture and the other half on top)
1/2 Cup Milk
1 Can of Boysenberries in Sauce
Mix together, spread on bottom of 8X8 glass pan. Pour can of Boysenberries in Sauce on top and top with 1/2 cup of sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes. That's it!
I have purchased Boysenberries in Light Sauce at the Winco Grocery store. Sometimes they are hard to find so I always stock up when I go to Utah. We don't have one here in Wyoming. Hope you enjoy my long time family recipe and my new pictures! Have a great day and thanks for stopping by.
