Why go out to a Chinese Restaurant when you can make it at home and save a lot of money? This Won Ton Soup is divine. I love it and have been making it for years. I will have several more recipes coming up that you won't want to miss so become a follower and you will get the email.

Won Ton Soup Ingredients
RICHES TO RAGS BY DORI WON TON SOUP
- 1 lb. of Ground Pork
- 1 Small Onion
- 1 package of Round Won Ton Wraps (Fruit and Vegetable section, refrigerated)
- 1 Bunch of Green Onions
- 1 small package of Chicken (I got what was on sale, it had 4 drumsticks in it)
- Bean Sprouts
- 1/4 teaspoon Kosher Salt
- 1/4 Cup green onions cut small.
- little less than 1/4 teaspoon of Pepper
- Two pinches of Accent Salt (Optional)
- 3 Tbls. Kikkoman Terriyaki Sauce
Put the ground pork in a bowl and pour the Terriyaki Sauce on top. Then put the salt, pepper, accent and green onions on top. Let the moisture soak in while you start the chicken.
Go down and start the Chicken Broth and then come back to the next step.
Mix everything up together really well. Mix it like you would meatloaf to get everything distributed throughout the meat. Now you are ready to assemble the Won Tons! Very easy.Separate each wrap and add a teaspoon of meat mixture into the middle of the wrap.
Pull all the ends together at the top and give it a good squeeze to close it. Set it on a baking sheet covered with foil.
In a pot with boiling water, add your Won Tons and cook about 6 minutes.
They will float to the top.

Making the Chicken Broth
I got the cheapest chicken to make the broth. Fill up a pot of water a little over half way on medium high and bring to a boil.
When it starts to boil and you see this nasty stuff on top take it to the sink and dump out the water, rinse off the chicken and the pot. Do this step one more time. This is how you make clear chicken broth without all the gunk in that water. Now that you have clear water and all the junk is boiled out throw in your cut up onion and two cut up green onions. Add some Pepper and about 3 teaspoons of Kosher Salt. You are going to let this simmer for a long time. A couple hours at least, you can simmering on low. The longer the better the taste. You can taste it as you go along and add salt and pepper as it needs it. I usually end up adding more salt.
Now that it has simmered,the chicken is cooked with a delicious broth for your soup.
Bringing it all together
Take the Won Tons out with a spoon with holes and put 4 into the bowl you will be serving.
Pull desired amount of chicken off the cooked drum sticks and put in the bowl. Shred it a little bit.
Pour some chicken broth with onions into the bowl on top of the chicken and Won Tons. Now add a pinch of Bean Sprouts on top with freshly cut green onions. Add a little pepper, salt and enjoy!
Can't you just see yourself taking a bite into one of these Won tons?
Take your leftover chicken and broth and freeze it for later. Package up the unused Won Tons and you have a meal waiting for you another time!
