Back in the day when my husband and I were traveling around the world while he was in the military we moved something like 11 times in 5 years. We always had to wait on a list for base housing and when it was your turn on the list you moved again. We got really good at moving and learning some tricks on how to decorate without having it be permanent.
I absolutely hated the plain white walls! I needed color. I went on an Army wife forum online and someone gave me some great advice. Use Fabric Starch to hang wallpaper and add chair rail to the top. You can take it off when it is time to move, wipe it off with a wet towel and you are done. I did it and it gave me the opportunity to decorate our humble abode with some style and color. I wish I had taken some pictures back then.
If you are someone who likes to change their mind on colors every so often this is a great way for you to do that. You can also use a glue adhesive if you want to.
